Hello! Just dropping by to say I think this project is a great idea. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know about it.

Not much else to say, so good luck!

ric:
Thanks!

Hello Ric,

I have been very interested in participating in the translation of Xian Jian since I finished playing through it last Summer. Could you perhaps send me an e-mail so that I might ask you some more specific questions about the project? Thanks,

Will Morrison

ric:
Hello Will,
I have sent you an email.

Will Morrison:
I just deleted your e-mail by accident before having opened it. Could I bother you to send it again?

ric:
Sure, I'll send you another one.

Also, what format should I translate the dialogue to? I've never read the raw coding, so I'm unaware. Does // do?

ric:
The format on the Wiki is exactly the format used in files. So lines usually start with %C6 and end with %Q.

Great to hear this, Einherjar! I am making a hacking tool now to modify the contents of the game. I'll send you an email to talk about it.

Eiinherjar:
Hmm... Not getting any mail.

Also, do you happen to know how to repack cpk files? I've tried to open the cpk file, and it seems that at the very least, a menu translation is looking very simple, and definitely possible.

ric:
Oh... I'll send you another email. CPK files are not used in PAL1, right? If you are talking about PAL3, I have a repack program. I'll include that in the email.
