I'm really glad to see that there's still a translation project going for this game. Chinese RPGs are such an underrepresented and interesting branch of gaming that I've been constantly frustrated with the lack of interest.

Good luck. I hope you guys manage to finish.

Hello, I came in here by surprise and I like what you guys do with this classic game, but I'd like to ask you to inform us of your progress more often, because we need to be in course of what is happening with the translation.
Thank you
Andrey

ric:
Thanks for the interest! I will post some updates in August. Please be patient.

As for the progress, I can't give you yet a percentage at this moment because of the technical issues we are facing. The full game won't be ready by the end of August.

Blackguard:
Wow, didn't expect for a reply, since I thought this project went dead again
Good luck with the translation, I hope we'll at least be able to see an alpha soon
Thanks again
Andrey

ric:
It's not dead! And I hope to have some sort of an alpha version soon!

Hey, I would really like to help you on converting this game into english. I played the original version in 1995 and passed it. I also played the 2001 remake a bit but didn't have time because of college. If you need any help on translating please let me know and shoot me an email. This is one of the best rpg's I have ever played in my lifetime.

I remember playing the chinese version of this game when I was a kid. Didn't get much of the story because I can't read chinese . I never got to finish it.
Thank you sir for translating this wonderful game. I just wondering how far are you from finishing.
Good luck!

OMG, so about 4 years ago I found the LSF Project site and was thrilled to see that the game was being translated to English, but then I became heart broken when it seemed the site was no longer being updated. And now today I suddenly stumbled upon this site and I got sooo excited again :))))) I just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your time and effort in translating this game. I wish I could be of more help but I have no skills in this area :(

ric:
Glad you found this place! It will take some time and this project will finish!

Hi Ric,

I own the remake version of the game and I'd like to help out with the translation. I've looked at the wiki but I don't really get why there're all those %N %Q stuff. Perhaps you could drop me an email? Just so I don't screw anything up once I hit the edit button (:

ric:
Thanks for the offer bardsmanship! I already have almost all the rough translations. Right now I am trying to fix programming problems.

The % symbols are in the programming scripts. %N denotes a new line, %Q denotes the end of a line.

bardsmanship:
I see. Well, I'll still be willing to contribute if you ever need someone to polish the translations. (:

Good luck with the programming!
